Stimuplex® HNS12 nerve stimulator

Nerve Stimulation for Peripheral Regional Anesthesia

Stimuplex® HNS12 Nerve Stimulator

Peripheral Regional Anesthesia allows for the effective analgesia of distinct body regions while avoiding the complexity and the risks associated with general anesthesia. The Stimuplex® HNS12 nerve stimulator enables quick and precise nerve localization as well as subsequent anesthesia in a straightforward workflow.

Using the stimulator and an attached cannula (a hollow hypodermic needle), weak current pulses are emitted into the body region to be anesthesized. These currents cause muscle contractions that guide the attending physician to the designated target nerve. Once localized, the target nerve gets numbed by injection of a local anesthetic through the same cannula. The stimulator can also be used with the Stimuplex® pen for transcutaneous nerve localization.

Stockert offers leading nerve stimulator solutions for peripheral regional anesthesia in an exclusive partnership with B.Braun.

Indications, contraindications, warnings and instructions for use can be found in the instructions for use supplied with each device.
