The first step towards your new job

Your application is the first step towards your new job. We are always looking for talent, so please feel free to send us your unsolicited application - even if there are no open job postings.

Required documents

Your application should consist of three documents: Cover letter, Curriculum vitae and Certificates. Please send your application as a PDF to . Be assured that your information will be treated confidentially.
 

Cover Letter

A cover letter is mandatory for all applications. In this document, you should state concisely why you are interested in working for Stockert and in the respective position and what your qualifications are. Also, we are interested to learn about your motivational drivers and future perspectives are.  Please also include your expected salary and your earliest date of entry. The cover letter should not exceed one page.

Curriculum vitae 

Make sure to include a detailed CV with clear structure. Typical components of the CV are your personal details, education, professional experience as well as professional and language skills. We are also interested in getting to know your personal interests and hobbies, so please feel free to mention your passion for cooking or running marathons or your volountary commitment.

A resume photo is not a must, but most applicants tend to include one to give their application a personal touch. If you decide to include a photo, please make sure it has been taken by a professional photographer and that it appropriately reflects your personality.

Certificates

Please include all certificates that are listed in your CV or are relevant for the application  The shorter your previous work expericence, the more important are these certificates, as they help us to get a better idea of who you are.

Response times 

We will send you a confirmation on receipt of your application, so you can be sure that we received your documents. The initial screening usually takes two to three weeks, as both HR and the respective department will review all applications. Holidays or business trips can occasionally lead to delays - so please bear with us.

In case we consider your application, we will send you an invite for an interview. Travel expenses get reimbursed - either a second class train ticket or 0.30 EUR/km when travelling by car. Please note that further expenses like lodging, taxi bills or loss of earning are not reimbursed.

You will also hear back from us in case we come to the conclusion that your profile does not match the posted position.

Your job interview 

Congratulations! Your application was successful and we invited you for a job interview - so what's next?

The job interview is not only an opportunity to advertise yourself, but also to get a good understanding about the position, your potential employer and the people you might regularly work with in the future. And of course we are interested to get to know you, your professional profile and your personality.

Show us who you are: What is your previous work experience? What is your motivation and what do you want to achieve? Your personality and soft-skills are just as important for us as your professional expertise. And don't miss out on the opportunity to ask questions, e.g. about the company and the position. 

At the end of the day the goal is that both parties know what to expect from one another. Of course - a job interview is quite exciting, but there is nothing to worry about. It goes without saying that you should show up on time.

Second interview

If the job interview convinced us that you are the right choice for the position, we usually invite you for a second interview. This time it is all about details: You will have a chance to get to know your potential future colleagues and we will give you a little tour of the company and your designated workplace. Furthermore we will discuss contract terms like starting date, salary and the probation period.
